A café has been destroyed in a fire next to Kilburn station.

The London Fire Brigade was called to Cheerio Juice Bar & Bakery on Kilburn High Road today (February 2) at 1.58am.

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to the scene, with a 25-metre cordon put in place.

Most of the shop was destroyed by the fire, the London Fire Brigade has said.

The fire was eventually under control by 3.23am.

According to the brigade, the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and due to combustible items placed too close to a chiller unit.

Today, the shop remains taped off with the damage visible to the public.
