Sutton United Football Club has been waiting for the go-ahead on two key conditions from its planning application for a new pavilion at Gander Green Lane, Sutton.
The club has submitted fresh proposals for a "construction logistics plan" and a "wildlife nesting scheme."
These documents are pending consideration from the local authority and are seen as essential steps in the approval process.
The application covers the development involving the demolition of an existing detached toilet block and the erection of a new pavilion.

The original application, referenced as DM2023/00098, was approved on 29 March 2023.
However, conditions 4 and 6, pertaining to the construction and wildlife plans, required further details for official clearance.
These came after the club, which is based off Gander Green Lane, was granted permission to build a new pavilion following the demolition of a current facility.
The pavilion is planned to be a single-storey, detached building.
However, in order to proceed, certain conditions from the planning application required additional details to be submitted for approval.
The planning documentation shows Sutton United has submitted its proposed construction logistics plan, as well as a wildlife nesting scheme.
The plans are currently "pending consideration" from Sutton Council.
Both plans were submitted on Monday, January 26, 2026, marking another step forward in the club’s plans to improve its facilities at Gander Green Lane.
The club has also proposed a wildlife nesting scheme.
The application remains to be considered, you can view the full report on Sutton Council's planning portal.
