The Met Office has predicted a week of unsettled weather in London with rain and winds.

Monday, February 9

The day will remain mostly cloudy, with temperatures peaking at 11°C.

As the evening falls, light rain is expected with a 60 per cent chance of precipitation around 8pm.

The rain will linger until around 10pm, with temperatures settling at 9°C.

The wind will blow from the south-east, averaging around 10mph, and gusts reaching up to 21mph.

Tuesday, February 10

The day will begin shrouded in mist, which is expected to lift by late morning.

From midday, the sky will remain overcast with light rain expected until about 9pm.

The chance of precipitation peaks at 90 per cent between 5pm and 6pm, before dropping to 40 per cent at 11pm.

The daytime temperature will hover around 11°C, with night temperatures expected to be at 10°C.

Expect a gentle south-southeast breeze at around 6mph.

Humidity levels will remain high, reaching up to 96 per cent in the evening.

Wednesday, February 11

Expect light rain in the morning which will persist through the day until early evening.

The maximum temperature during the day is predicted to reach 12°C, dropping to 10°C at night.

Rain chances peak at 70 per cent between 8am and 9am, decreasing gradually through the day.

Winds from the south-west will increase in strength, reaching up to 11mph, with gusts of up to 25mph.

Humidity is anticipated to decrease from 96 per cent to 80 per cent in the late afternoon.

Thursday, February 12

Light rain is anticipated to continue into Thursday, before turning to cloudy skies in the afternoon.

Rain represents a 60-70 per cent chance of precipitation during most of the day, dropping to 20 per cent by 11pm.

Temperature highs will be around 10°C, dropping to a cooler 7°C during the night.

Westerly winds will remain strong, reaching up to 12mph, with gusts reaching 28mph.

Humidity will decrease throughout the day, dropping to 73 per cent in the afternoon.

Friday, February 13

Friday will start off cloudy, changing to light showers in the afternoon.

There is a 40-50 per cent chance of rain, mainly in the afternoon, decreasing to 20 per cent as night falls.

The daytime temperature will reach a maximum of 8°C, dropping to 5°C at night.

North to north-easterly winds will vary from 7mph to 9mph, with gusts of up to 23mph.

Humidity will drop significantly from 87 per cent in the morning to around 69 per cent in the late afternoon.

Saturday, February 14

Saturday will be slightly drier, with cloudy skies expected to change into sunny intervals by late morning.

Small chances of rain (below 20 per cent) will persist throughout the day.

The maximum daytime temperature will be around 7°C.

The cold will be accompanied by north-north-west winds blowing at up to 9mph in the morning before decreasing slightly in the evening.

Winds could gust up to 19mph in the morning, calming down by late afternoon.

Expect a drop in humidity from 78 per cent in the morning to 53 per cent in the afternoon.

Sunday, February 15

Cloudy skies will mark the start of Sunday, changing to light rain by early afternoon.

The chance of showers will increase from 10 per cent in the morning to 60 per cent in the afternoon, persisting into the evening.

The temperature will reach a peak of 7°C, dropping to 4°C.

South-southeast winds will blow at 5-12mph, with gusts reaching up to 27mph.

The day will end with high humidity levels reaching 85 per cent in the evening.
