A London pub has unveiled a blue plaque marking the "greatest heartbreak" of singer RAYE.
The Nightingale in Balham installed the plaque in a nod to her new single, released last Friday.
The song, titled Nightingale Lane, references a street in the South London suburbs.
It is taken from RAYE’s upcoming album THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE, due to be released on 27 March 2026.
Born in Tooting and raised in Croydon, RAYE has spoken of "the greatest heartbreak I have ever known" in the track, which the pub has now memorialised.
A video shared on the pub’s Instagram page shows a blue plaque being installed on the building, reading: "RAYE experienced her greatest heartbreak she has ever known here."
In the caption, the pub team wrote: "Raye experienced the greatest heartbreak she ever knew here and now we’ve got a plaque to prove it.
"@raye if you fancy a quick half before tonight’s Brit awards, we’ve got a table with your name on it."
RAYE appeared at the BRIT Awards last weekend, performing Nightingale Lane alongside her No 1 single WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!
