A man has been charged with terrorist offences involving a group in East Africa.
Jermaine Grant, 43, of no fixed address, is accused of directing the activities of the Somali-based terrorist organisation Al-Shabaab.
He has also been charged with three counts of attending an Al-Shabaab commando training camp in Kismayu, Somalia, and two counts of possessing an AK47 for terrorist purposes.
All charges relate to activity alleged to have taken place between December 31, 2007, and January 1, 2010.

Grant was charged following an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing London and has been charged under the Terrorism Act 2000 and the Terrorism Act 2006.
He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, April 9.
Acting commander Kris Wright of Counter Terrorism Policing London said: "These are serious charges and come as the result of a long-running investigation.
"This case shows we will always pursue anyone suspected of being involved in terrorist activity, no matter where in the world or how long ago it is alleged to have taken place."
