Elizabeth line passengers are being warned of "severe delays" between a major station and an airport.
Trains between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport are being disrupted due to a signalling fault between Ealing Broadway and Southall, with delays expected until 6pm on Saturday (April 18).
National Rail said affected services may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes, or revised.
Stations including West Ealing and Hanwell are not being served in either direction.
Passengers travelling to West Ealing are advised to leave the train at Ealing Broadway and take the E7 or E11 buses, while those heading to Hanwell should take the E8 bus from Ealing Broadway.
For passengers travelling to Heathrow Terminal 5, National Rail advises taking a service to Heathrow Terminal 4, changing at Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3, and boarding a Heathrow Express train to Terminal 5.
Alternatively passengers can also use the Piccadilly line to Heathrow Airport.
Tickets can be used at no extra cost on the London Underground, Great Western Railway services between London Paddington and Reading, South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Reading, or buses.
Transport for London confirmed "severe delays" between Paddington and both Reading and Heathrow Terminals 4 and 5.
Those delayed may be entitled to compensation and should keep their tickets and note journey details to support any claim.
The rest of the Elizabeth line is currently running a good service.
