Two men have been dead after incidents at London parks while a total of six people are injured in two separate hit-and-runs this weekend.
The incidents unfolded between Friday (June 26) and today (June 28) in West Wickham, North Wembley and Hackney.
This only includes incidents that London Now is aware of and has reported on.
Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.
Man dies after found near pond in east London
Emergency services were called to reports of a man unresponsive in Hollow Ponds, near Whipps Cross University Hospital, on Friday (June 26) at 6.46 pm.
A 37-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he then died.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said; "His death is being treated as unexpected, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
The City of London Corporation explained it is supporting the Met with enquiries.
Man arrested after stabbing in Hayes Town
Police were called to Coldharbour Lane at 1.29am on Saturday, June 27, where they found a man in his 20s with stab wounds.
Officers provided first aid before the London Ambulance Service arrived and took the injured man to hospital.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray.
He was initially taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries but has since been discharged and remains in police custody.
Police stated the victim's injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.
Five people injured after hit-and-run in Ealing Broadway
Police were called to the busy shopping district near The Broadway and High Street on Saturday (June 27) at 2.29pm following the crash.
A total of five pedestrians were injured, after initial reports of three people injured.
Two were treated at the scene and three were taken to hospital.
It is believed all injuries are non-life-threatening or life-changing.
The car involved did not stop at the scene and was stopped near Grange Park a short time later.
The driver, described by the Met as a 34-year-old Somalia-born British man, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and attempted murder.
Counter Terrorism Policing London were contacted by the Met for initial enquiries.
However, a spokesperson for the Met said: "While investigators are keeping an open mind as to any potential motive, the incident is not being treated as terrorism."
Cyclist fighting for life after hit-and-run in Bow
A cyclist in his 20s has been left in a life-threatening and life-changing condition after a hit-and-run in Bow.
Emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a car at around 6.15am on Sunday, June 28, at the junction of Grove Road and Roman Road.
Off-duty police officers who were passing the scene stopped to provide emergency first aid to the cyclist before paramedics arrived.
He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, where he remains in a life-threatening and life-changing condition.
The car involved, a BMW 318D, failed to stop at the scene.
It was later recovered on Three Colts Lane.
No arrests have been made, and police enquiries are ongoing to identify the driver.
The Metropolitan Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the investigation.
Man found dead in Mill Hill park
Police were called to the scene near Bunns Lane and Flower Lane, Mill Hill, at 9.19am on Sunday, June 28.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the death is being treated as “unexpected but non-suspicious.”
Members of the public were alerted to the incident after seeing the police forensic tent in the park on Sunday morning.
A passing motorist, who asked to remain anonymous,said he saw multiple police cars and two ambulances at the scene after passing the park around 9.45am.
