We’ve gathered everything known so far after a man was rushed to hospital following a late-night stabbing in Colindale.
The London Ambulance Service was called just after 11pm on July 1 following reports of a stabbing on Booth Road, near Braemar Gardens.
The incident took place on a residential street in Colindale, with emergency services arriving shortly after the call.
The response included an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer.
A trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched in a car to support the response.
The victim, a man, was treated at the scene before being taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.
Booth Road was cordoned off by police shortly after the incident, with the road closure continuing for more than 11 hours into the morning of today (July 2).
Officers remained at the scene during the morning as enquiries continued.
Residents reported a heavy emergency presence overnight, with sirens heard across the area and blue lights visible from nearby homes.
One resident said they were alerted to the incident by the level of police activity outside, describing the road being blocked off through the night.
At this stage, the victim’s condition has not been confirmed.
No arrests have been announced.
The Metropolitan Police have not yet issued a detailed public statement on the incident.
