A person has been taken to hospital after a casualty on the tracks at Forest Hill station.

Emergency services were called at 2.30pm today (July 6) to reports of the casualty at Forest Hill.

A person was taken to hospital, with their condition unknown at this time.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious, a British Transport Police spokesperson said.

Thameslink, Southern, and London Overground trains have been blocked today between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace / Norwood Junction following the incident.

Trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, cancelled or revised and disruption is expected until 5pm, however, this could be extended.
