Police have shared an update after a man was taken to hospital following an assault outside Barking station.
Emergency services were called to Barking Station Parade today (July 6) at 5am following reports of the attack.
A man in his 50s was treated at the scene for head injuries.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson has since said: "He was taken to hospital, where his condition was assessed as non-life-changing and non-life-threatening.
"No arrests have been made and officers are making enquiries."
