Paramedics have detailed their emergency response after they battled to save a man’s life following a fatal stabbing in Hackney Downs Park.
Police were called to Downs Park Road in Hackney at 1.42pm yesterday (July 13) following the reported stabbing.
London Ambulance Service crews, including an ambulance, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer, were sent to the scene.
London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched.
Despite their efforts, the man, believed to be in his late 20s, died at the scene.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "Despite efforts to save his life, a man sadly died at the scene."

Police said his family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.
A murder investigation is underway , but no arrests have yet been made.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said: "Our investigation remains in the early stages and officers are working at pace to identify those responsible."

Metropolitan Police remained in the area overnight as they continued their enquiries.
Detective Chief Superintendent Brittany Clarke, who leads policing in the area, said: "We understand that this incident occurred close to a school in broad daylight which will be hugely concerning for local residents.
"We will continue to update the community when we can."
