Pictures from the scene have revealed the major emergency response to a traffic collision on a busy London high street which has resulted in a man being rushed to hospital.
The incident happened on Kilburn High Road, which was closed off between Quex Road and Kilburn Square and remained taped off this afternoon (July 27).
The collision, which took place just before 3pm, involved a motorcycle and prompted a large emergency response including London’s Air Ambulance.
Photos from Kilburn High Road depicted the response by paramedics, police and fire crews following the serious collision.
Police tape can be seen at the intersection of Kilburn High Road, Victoria Road and Quex Road, through to Birchington Road.
Multiple shops including Nat West Bank and Popeyes were forced to close as emergency services responded.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority by road.

"The first paramedic arrived in less than seven minutes."
A crime scene remains in place, with photos showing officers extending the police cordon to Lloyds Bank.
London buses were forced to stop their routes and turn their vehicles around on the busy high street due to the road closure.
The crash caused long delays and disruption to transport in the area, with bus routes 16, 32, 98, 316, and 328 all diverted.
