A teenager has been taken to hospital after being stabbed near a busy train station.
The incident on Salisbury Avenue, Barking, was reported to the emergency services at around 9.50pm last night (July 27).
Ambulance crews, a clinical team manager and an incident response officer were dispatched to the scene.
London's Air Ambulance was also in attendance.
A 17-year-old boy was found suffering a stab wound to his arm and was taken to a major trauma centre.
His injuries were later assessed as non life-threatening and non life-changing.
No arrests have been made at this stage, and enquiries are ongoing.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.48pm on Monday 27 July to reports of a stabbing in Salisbury Avenue, Barking.
“We sent resources including ambulance crews, a clinical team manager, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance.
“We treated a teenager at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre.”
