A person has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in north west London.
Police were called to Preston Road, near the junction of Elmstead Avenue, following reports of the knife incident yesterday (July 30) at 7.55pm.
A patient, whose details including age have not been specified at this time, was treated at the scene before they were taken to hospital.
Their condition is not known at this time.
The Metropolitan Police has been approached for further information.
Officers cordoned a parade of shops in the area while an investigation took place.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.55pm on Thursday (July 30) to reports of a stabbing on Preston Road, Wembley.
"We sent a number of resources to the scene.
"We treated a patient and took them to a major trauma centre."
