A man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing by a petrol station.

The incident on Limpsfield Road, South Croydon, was reported to the Metropolitan Police just before 11.20pm on July 29.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that the suspects had fled. 

A 53-year-old man was found suffering multiple stab wounds and was treated by paramedics.

He was taken to hospital where his injuries were confirmed to be neither life-threatening nor life-changing. 

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm but has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
