Police are searching for a stabbing victim after reports of a knife attack in a busy square in Brixton.
Windrush Square was cordoned off for hours on Tuesday (August 4) following reports of a stabbing.
Officers attended the scene, but the victim left before police arrived.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police have identified the victim and efforts are underway to locate them.
"No arrests have been made at this stage and the crime scene has been closed."
London Now can confirm that police tape was removed around the square just before 6.30 pm after reporter Joseph Reaidi went to the scene to investigate.
Anyone with information that may assist police is asked to call the Met on 101, quoting CAD 4259/4Aug.
