Southall, Burns Avenue fire - Pictures from the scene

Images taken at the scene show London Fire Brigade appliances, ambulance crews and police cordons in the residential street as firefighters responded to the incident.

Local resident Priya said emergency services arrived quickly as the incident unfolded.

She told London Now: "There were fire crews there already, and then more emergency services arrived.

"Police came as well and were making sure everyone was outside the houses and not inside the properties".

"It scared me a little bit because I could see the fire.

"It seemed like it could spready very easily".

Earlier updates from the scene indicated that no smoke was visible by mid-afternoon and the fire appeared to be under control.

Road closures and bus diversions were put in place while emergency services dealt with the incident, although traffic information later suggested the road had reopened.
