Clapham Common station has been shut after an emergency incident.
The station was shut since at least 6pm today (August 9) following reports of the emergency.
Several British Transport Police and London Ambulance Service vehicles were at the scene.
The nature of the incident is unknown at this time.
However, the closure lasted for roughly one hour and thirty minutes.
Transport for London (TfL) said at the time; “This station is closed while Police respond to an incident.”
People were being diverted from the Northern line station.
Emergency services have been approached for more information.
