A major police response has been launched following a reported broad daylight stabbing in west London this morning.
The incident took place on Askew Road in Shepherd’s Bush, west London, shortly before 9am today (August 18).
Emergency services, including police and paramedics, arrived at the scene and quickly established a large cordon, closing off sections of the road at Hadyn Park Road, Lawrence Mews, and Davisville Road.
A forensic tent was erected at the scene, and an air ambulance was also reported to have arrived at Wendell Park.

A resident described seeing a heavy emergency services presence, and reported witnessing up to a dozen police vehicles swarm her street.
Photos from the scene show a significant police presence, with officers standing guard behind the cordon and forensic teams working at the site.
The Metropolitan Police have not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
Askew Road remains closed.
