A man has been taken to hospital after a collision in Bermondsey this morning.
Emergency services were called at 6.31am today (September 4) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Bermondsey Street and Decima Street, SE1.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) said the man was treated at the scene before he was rushed to hospital.
An LAS spokesperson said: “We treated a man at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
The service said it sent an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
It also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
Police closed Bermondsey Street, adding to delays across the area.

One lane was blocked on Tower Bridge Road northbound at Grange Road.
Congestion stretched back towards Bricklayers Arms.
Queues formed on the opposite carriageway towards Tower Bridge as drivers passed the scene.
Delays were expected in south London around Tower Bridge Road and Bermondsey Street.
