A woman has been rushed to a major trauma centre after a road traffic collision in Elephant and Castle.
Emergency services were called at 7:58am this morning (September 14) to reports of a collision on New Kent Road.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) sent multiple crews to the scene, including paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer, and an advanced paramedic.
An LAS spokesperson said: "We were called at 7:58am today (14 September) to reports of a road traffic collision on New Kent Road, SE1.

"We treated a patient at the scene and took her to a major trauma centre as a priority."
A witness has reported the woman was struck by another vehicle while riding a Lime bike on New Kent Road.
A trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance also attended in a car.
New Kent Road was closed in both directions between Old Kent Road at the Bricklayers Arms and Elephant and Castle while emergency services responded.
The closure caused significant congestion in the area, with traffic backing up through Bermondsey and along Great Dover Street.
