A major police cordon has been put in place outside King's Cross station after reports of an abandoned vehicle on Kings Boulevard.

Pancras Road, outside St Pancras station, is shut both ways between Goods Way and Euston Road.

Southeastern Railway said the exits and entrances on Pancras Road are closed, but others are open.

Pictures from the scene show the major response response from authorities, with a cordon set in place as officers warn bystanders to avoid the area.

A helicopter was also seen hovering around the scene.

Traffic is queuing, and a detour is in place.

Bus routes 46 and 214 have been affected.
